ManxGP: Day 13 – Aug 31st – Blog by Alan Boyter at Vendetta Racing

Another well deserved day off for the team, and after the amount of celebration yesterday we needed it!

New numbers ready for the Junior race on Wednesday

We started the day off in the pits, just a quick look over the bike with the fairings off to check everything is in order, a quick wash, numbers changed for the Junior race (now number 80) and we were done as far as our Race bike was concerned, time to see what the island has to offer.

Vintage bike show Rudge classic..

We headed into Castletown as there was a vintage bike procession going through the town so we had a mooch around, seeing the sights and grabbing a pub lunch.

We decided that Ice cream would go well after such a great lunch so we headed over to Laxey for one and to see the Laxey wheel at the same time.

Once our belly’s were happy, it was time to head over to Peel to catch the final round of the beach motocross championship followed by a quick fish and chips on the way home.

Impromptu quad beach race..

What a fantastic relaxing day!   Big race tomorrow though so its an early night tonight for all involved.

Jason took a day off from advice today, LOL
