28 February 2015-Lechner Racing Porsche driver Alex Riberas took a dominant victory in the second race of the NGK Racing Series on day two of the UAE national race day double header at Dubai Autodrome on Saturday.

The Spaniard played second fiddle on Friday to Mark Patterson who won race one in the Dragon Racing Ferrari, but did the business on day two in the 10 laps sprint race.

Behind Riberas Patterson struggled early on in the race, but recovered to finish third, setting the fastest lap in the process, but could not reel in Leon Price in another Dragon Racing Ferrari whose consistency paid off and was rewarded with second place.

In Class 4 Tani Hanna led home Dragon Racing Ferrari teammates Quentin Wahl and Louis Dirrell, the top two slugging out all race long.

Costas Papantonis won Class 1 in his Gulf Petrochem SEAT, with Petr Valek second in his BMW.

It was double victory on the day for Gulf Petrochem as Alex Annivas scooped top prize in Class 2, and the race-within-a-race Clio Cup with Will Morrison and Lars Seistup second and third respectively. Meisam Taheri won Class 6 in his Toyota.

In other races held on the day Abdulaziz Binladen did the double by winning the UAE Sportbikes 600 Class on his Saudi Falcons Kawasaki, ahead of Yamaha rider Vladimir Ivanov in second and Honda mounted Mahmoud Tannir third.

KTM rider Steve Blackney won the 1000 Class invitational race, finishing ahead of Wesley Pearce on a Ducati.

Sergey Shalunov scored his maiden win at the Aurtodrome when he powered to victory in the Radical Middle East Cup race, beating the car shared by Sameh Al Qubaisi and Tarek Elgammal by 34 seconds, with third place going to the pairing of Richard Ardolino and Jordan Grogor.

Tejas Hirani won a closely fought Formula Gulf 1000 race, narrowly beating Ahemd Al Ghanim thanks to a last lap move which gave him the edge as they crossed the line, Mashur Bal Hejaila was third.
