Nuno calls time & hangs up his leathers

As the new Road Racing season starts in haste Portuguese rider Nuno Caetano announced he was to retire from racing. One of the most popular riders in the road racing paddock, Nuno always had a friendly smile for everyone ,whether he was having a good or a bad day, his smile was infectious to say the least.
Having participated in all the major road racing events such as the renowned Isle of Man TT, Olivers Mount and Macau to mention but a few over the last 6 plus years whilst riding against the best road racers in the world.

Posting on his social media page this morning Nuno said;
“Thats it folks….. The end of the road for me….. After 6 years between the hedges time has come to take a bow and start a new chapter in my life…. Balancing racing with professional and personal commitments has become impossible at this stage…. Thanks to all event organizers, fellow racers, marhalls and supporters for all these wonderful years.. A special thanks to Kevin Spurr and Joao Casal for keeping my bikes in tip top shape over the years and the Bowers family for welcoming me to the Isle of Man time and time again….. Best of luck for everyone for the 2016 and beyond…Pstar”

I wish him all the very best for the future and thank him for the memories.
