Abdulaziz Al Kuwari action

Fri, June 1st 2012- The last Qatar National Rally of the season, organized by Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation took place at QMMF headquarters, due to the high temperatures, the event was organized in the evening.

The winner of round 6 and overall championship winner was Abdulaziz Al Kuwari with his co-driver Nasser Al Kuwari. They tallied a total of 135 points in the final standings after participating in all rounds. The pair completed all stages of round 6 with a total time of 59:24:3.

finishing second was female turkish duo of Burcu Centinkaya and co-driver Nehir Yilmaz

In second position of the championship,  finishing also second yesterday in the round 6, the female turkish duo of Burcu Centinkaya who ended the championship with 115 points and her co-driver a Nehir Yilmaz , claimed 82 points in the final standings, with a total time of 1.09.59.

Third in the championship standings is Khalid Al Suwaidi but he did not take part  in the final round 6.

The final round of the Qatar National Baja 2012, round 9, organized by Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation also took place yesterday. The winner of round 9 and Championship winner was Faisal Al Attiya. His total time in all the stages of yesterday round 9 was 59.04.2 with co-driver Abdul Haleem.

In second position, Saudi Arabian driver Ibrahim Al Muhanna and his co-driver from Egypt, Ahmed Badr made a total time of 1.10.52 to complete all the stages.

The UAE team formed by Ali Hassan Obaid and Ali Hassan Dadi finished in the third position with a time of 1.11.15.

In the Drivers championship standings, Faisal Al Attiya took the title with a total of 175 points.

In second position, the driver from Saudi Arabia Ibrahim Al Muhanna ends the season with 135 points only 2 points more than the third classified, Sheikh Hamad Al Thani with 133 points.
