Our media partners over at CAR Middle East have made the unexpected announcement that they will close the publication at the end of Aug. The September 2011 issue of CAR Middle East will be the last edition of the magazine. Many loyal readers have been left shocked by the recent news.
Here at CPD we have shared many great Motorsports stories and filming opportunities with our freinds at CAR Middle East and especially we will miss the friendly banter with Editor in Chief Shahzad Sheikh.
The keepsake final CAR Middle East edition will be out in the first week of September 2011, featuring some great local stories including a twin test with the Rolls-Royce Ghost and Bentley Mulsanne, and a feature drive of the stunning Lamborghini Performante. The website, CARMiddleEast.com, and Facebook page we are told will also close at the end of this month.
Over nearly six years of publishing, CAR Middle East revolutionised motoring media in the region and led the way with innovative, exciting, entertaining, yet informative, authoritative and credible motoring journalism with an emphasis on stylish presentation, captivating writing, stunning local photography and an all-round quality offering.

There will be a mass gathering of all petrolheads on Aug 25th in the Pavillion, Downtown Dubai. The CAR Team will be there from 7pm till Late. All welcome car or no car. Here is a map to Emaar Boulavard, adjacent to Dubai Mall. See you there !
