IOM TT: MotoGP stars experience the mountain course after rain stops Supersport race

Wednesday’s race action at the 2011 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy was brought to an abrupt end when the second Monster Energy Supersport race was red flagged due to rain around the Mountain Course. Having already been postponed from 10.45am until 12.40pm, when the race did get underway, riders were warned of damp patches all around the course. Isle of Man, June 6th 2011 – Experienced Kiwi campaigner Bruce Anstey won his 8th Isle of Man TT race on Monday afternoon when he clinched victory in a shortened, and dramatic, 3-lap Monster Energy Supersport Race 1. The original race was red flagged following an incident at Gorse Lea. Casey Stoner took his 26th victory in the premier class at the Gran Premi Aperol de Catalunya, with last year’s race winner Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha Factory Racing) finishing in second followed by teammate American Ben Spies in third. Bahrain -Jun 3rd 2011- In a unanimous decision today, the International Automobile Federation (FIA) reinstated the Bahrain Grand Prix in the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship to be held on October 30.
